Hello, thanks for stopping in, were always home. Was wondering if anybody
would stop by today. Grab a chair, i'll get you a beer, and i will have one with ya. Know why your
here, you heard of a couple of old 50's/60's throwbacks that were hanging out on the net spinning
a tune or two. That's us, can't forget that music. While Dons out loading some tunes and checking
on the band, they will be playing for ya. And me and Don might do a little number for ya also. Maybe
a solo, cant sing a lick but we can play. Well anyways your our guest, and with our other guest
if you see something here that you dont like, tell us, were good folk and we will take care of
it. Oh!speaking of guest dont forget to sign the guest book on the table before you leave if
you like.
The music you will be listening to are what you call midi files. Midi stands
for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. They are not like wave or audio files, they
do not have sound or play musical notes. They are little programs that contain volume, pitch,
timing, and effects like reverb. All of these are interpreted by your sound card and converted
to music. The better quality of your sound card, the better the sound. Midi files are used for
telling the built in synthesizer on your sound card(which produce various sounds of instruments)
what sound to play. You will also need a midi player. Windows comes with one already installed.
Now we search the web looking for those special tunes that we were part of. Hope you enjoy
the selection. The 50's made history and we and you were part of it. Well DONS back and it's time
for you to sit back, put your feet up, close your eyes, and take that trip down MEMORY LANE.
